Setagaya Art Museum
Finished

Artists

Yoshio Mori, Tetsuro Komai
Yoshio Mori (1908-1997) is best known for “Two People” (1950, Collection of Kinokuniya Company Ltd.), a monumental work in postwar art. This exhibition showcases works by the artist that were newly gifted to the museum as well as those by other artists from the period, including some by Mori’s associates in art groups and his university teaching colleagues. In a small display, it also presents the richly poetic monotype prints of Tetsuro Komai (1920-1976).
