This event has ended.

In “2501,” Tavernier depicts an age in which humanity has been fully integrated into virtual environments. The real world has gradually collapsed after having been abandoned and left to fall into ruin. Nature and the cities of the world are shrouded in darkness, in stark contrast to the “life” of human beings in the digital world, which shines with a fresh and brilliant light. Ultimately, however, fatigue and loneliness will appear in a way of life submerged in data, which will threaten the minds of these wanderers of the digital world. “2501” is not a tale of some distant future, but one that has already begun.
