Artists

Takahiro Iwasaki, Tatsuya Tanaka, Yasuhiro Suzuki, Taiji Matsue, Isao Hiramachi et al.
With scientific advancements and media developments, we now receive information about scales of all kinds – from the smallest particles invisible to the human eye to the farthest reaches of outer space. Yet it is difficult to truly experience these extremes in size. To the artist, scale can be a concept to work with and a factor that influences how they exhibit their works. This exhibition focusing on contemporary art includes photos, paintings, and installations that experiment with perspective to reimagine the world. As scale changes, our impressions of the sights and objects familiar to us also alters dramatically. Embark on a journey of scale at Yokosuka Museum of Art.
