Reishi Kusaka
Under the concept of “reduction of space”, Reishi Kusaka applies numerous layers of paint onto panels, canvas, paper, and other surfaces. For this exhibition, Kusaka, who has long used geometric shapes to determine the layout of his work, has instead relied on irregular shapes to “reduce the painting space into the current space.”
