Although it is a small country situated between Switzerland and Austria, Liechtenstein holds one of the most extensive private art collections in the world. This exhibition comprises about 130 works from the princely collection, including works by Rubens, Jan Brueghel the Elder and Lucas Cranach the Elder and feature mainly the Northern Renaissance, Baroque and Rococo works, as well as porcelain works, featuring those from Vienna Porcelain Manufactory that are strongly influenced by the tastes of some of the most prominent aristocrats in Europe.
