Artists

Hideo Hagiwara
Hideo Hagiwara believes that the best way to understand abstract art is to see as much of it as possible. Understanding art as a structural language of colors and forms, Hagiwara considers art’s value to come from the messages the viewer receives from these aspects of the work. This exhibition focuses on the simple forms in red, yellow, white, blue, and brown from his 1959 work “Circus.”
