Introducing around 200 works of art from some 13,000 holdings, The National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo (MOMAT) collection exhibitions are held seasonally with special themes tracing developments in Japanese art since the Meiji era. In addition to crafts, this spring’s show features floral works of Nihonga and oil paintings. Exhibits related to the artist Ichiro Fukuzawa will also be held on the lower level.

Opening Hours Information

Hours	10:00-17:00 Closes at 20:00 on Fridays and Saturdays.
Closed	Monday Open on a public holiday Monday but closed on the following day. Closed during the New Year holidays and in between exhibitions.
Notice	Open until 20:00 on Friday and Saturday.

Fee

Adults ¥500, University Students ¥250, High School Sudents and under, Seniors over 65, Registered Disabled + 1 assistant free.

3 minute walk from exit 1b at Takebashi Station on the Tozai line. 5 minute walk from exit 4 at Kudanshita Station on the Hanzomon and Tozai lines or Toei Shinjuku line. 15 minute walk from exit A1 at Jimbocho Station on the Toei Shinjuku and Mita lines or Hanzomon line.
