Sempiternos is series by the Bolivian artist Joaquín Carvajal depicting the indigenous peoples of eastern Bolivia. Through photography and music, these works evoke the reality of the Amazon. The photography vividly portrays the daily lives of people in touch with their roots while the rhythms of the music reflect Bolivian Chaco culture and the local jungles and landscapes.
