This exhibition showcases works of art that set out to express sound visually. Some of them present scenes of people playing instruments and dancing, others incorporate scores and musical symbols, while still others have titles suggestive of musical pieces. While others present sounds of rain and wind from paintings depicting nature, or the din of the city from urban portraits.
