Tala Madani (b. 1981 in Tehran, currently based in Los Angeles), is known for a satirical, humorous style that transcends her Iranian/American cultural background to serve up shrewd critiques of contemporary society and the march of globalization. MAM Project 027 will present paintings and works on video from this high-profile international artist, including a number of new works.
