The Hermès theme for 2019 is “In Pursuit of Dreams.” For its window display, this time the English artist Christian Hidaka has recreated the stage for a ballet based on French poet Stéphane Mallarmé’s “The Afternoon of a Faun,” among other scenes from European dramas.
