New Life for Timeless Art

National treasures and important cultural properties, recently restored with funding provided by the Sumitomo Foundation Grant for Projects for Protection, Preservation & Restoration, will be on exhibition with the repair of these cultural properties spotlighted. The exhibitions are held simultaneously in four museums: Sen-Oku Hakuko Kan (Kyoto), Sen-Oku Hakuko Kan, Tokyo, Kyushu National Museum, and Tokyo National Museum. Sen-Oku Hakuko Kan, Tokyo exhibits some 50 restored paintings and crafts mainly from eastern Japan. *Exhibited works will be alternated.
