More than just decorations, beads are made with a variety of materials and fulfill a wide range of purposes. This exhibition looks back on their 100,000-year history from perspectives of anthropology and nature, offering an understanding of how beads and humanity are linked to each other.

Hours	9:00-17:00 Closes at 20:00 on Fridays. Permanent exhibition is open until 20:00 on Saturdays.
Closed	Monday Open on a public holiday Monday but closed on the following day. Closed during the New Year holidays.

Adults and University Students ¥630; High School Students and Under, Seniors 65 & Over, Persons with Disability Certificates + 1 Companion free; Special Exhibition Fees may be charged separately.
