This photography show takes an experimental, participation-based approach to the act of documenting easily overlooked aspects of “people, architecture, and the city.” The two-year project divides Tokyo into north (2019) and south (2020) areas. It will involve 100 photographers joining through an open-call process plus 20 specially invited guests. Together they will capture Tokyo and its architecture as it is now, focusing on north Tokyo during 2019 Golden Week for this session. These images plus graphs and maps are on display.
