For it’s 12th anniversary, The Museum of Contemporary Art, Karuizawa presents works from its collection by Japanese artists who traveled abroad to experience the forefront of the international art scene. Featured artists include postwar masters and leaders in contemporary art such as Yayoi Kusama and Yoshitomo Nara. Fifty works shed light on how these artists forged new paths in the art world.
