Miwa Yanagi “Myth Machine”
Ends in 30 days
Since the 1990s, Miwa Yanagi has been an influential figure not only in the contemporary art scene but also in the theater world. Yanagi first garnered attention with photography projects such as ‘Elevator Girl’ and ‘Fairy Tale’. From 2010, she began work on her first major theater project, leading to the acclaimed stage work, the Taisho period set ‘1924’. This exhibition marks the first showing of a new series of peaches shot on an orchard in Fukushima Prefecture with a motif based on Japanese mythology.
