This event has ended.

Japan has a long and rich history and in each age, the country has had various exchanges with overseas countries and cultures. For years, Japanese culture was heavily influenced by China and the Korean Peninsula. However, from the Edo Period, books from the West would come to have a heavy influence on the nation’s destiny. This exhibition follows the effect of these exchanges on Japanese history and culture through books and other written material.
