Up and coming artist and Oita native Mika Kawano is the recipient of several awards including the Beppushi Museum Prize in 2007. Her work takes inspiration from Western mythology and the Bible and makes use of red and flesh tones. This exhibition is centered around new, hitherto unseen work the artist completed during her stay in Vienna.
