Artists

Yugo Mabe
Yugo Mabe was born in 1955 at San Paulo, as a third son of the renowned Brazilian artist, Manabu Mabe. Greatly influenced by his father’s working process, Yugo decided to become an artist under his father’s tutelage. Since then, having father as a mentor and a strict critic, he successfully held his first solo exhibition in 1980 at San Paulo and has been exhibiting his works ever since. This exhibition at Wada Garou Tokyo mainly consists of his landscape paintings featuring harmony between his bold use of color and nuanced brushwork.
