Ichitaro Suzuki “Dot”
Ends in 35 days
Pursuing the realities of the Information Age, Ichitaro Suzuki creates sculptures based on pixels, the smallest digital unit. He combines pieces of wood painted with acrylics in a puzzle-like assembly to make his highly abstract works that at first glance appear like low-quality images you might see on a computer monitor. Suzuki skillfully manipulates this perception gap between reality and imagination. His recent works have included moving pieces featuring LEDs.
