These paintings created during the corona crisis are documents of this time when everyday life and relationships with others seem to have vanished while self-reflection takes over. If the self mirrors the environment, it becomes an after-image and an absurd hope for the future if this environment disappears and only the self remains. The works of these two artists reflect such meditations.
