Jean Paul Blais + Yohei Nishimura “Rencontre”

Gallery Tsubaki / GT2
Finished

Artists

Jean Paul Blais, Yohei Nishimura
An exhibition by the Swiss artist Jean Paul Blais and the Japanese artist Yohei Nishimura. Both contemporary artists, they met by coincidence. Blais creates wood reliefs in black lacquer while Nishimura builds sculptures with discarded cans he puts through a firing process. Although they may seem unrelated, these works find resonance and further meaning with each other, creating ties between East and West.
