The world is currently living under the pandemic of COVID-19.

Many lives have been lost due to the virus, against which we do not yet have a medical solution. Even now, many are suffering from the disease. Even for the people with no sign or symptoms of the disease, the “free life” they used to have is restricted.

The English word “life” has two meanings; life as in “life and death” and life as in “daily life”. In this time, people are thinking more seriously about both “life and death” and “daily life”.

This exhibition is an opportunity to think about “Life” during COVID-19 through the exhibition of selected work from the MMAT collection.
