Newspark - The Japan Newspaper Museum celebrates its 20th anniversary this October. The museum has held more than 100 exhibitions in its two decades of operations, covering topics as wide as the 20th century and as specific as photojournalist Bunyo Ishikawa. In addition to displaying flyers from 93 of the shows, this exhibition will present materials related to the Yokohama Mainichi Newspaper, the arrival of the Black Ships, and the early Meiji era. Admission will be free on October 13 and the first 150 visitors will receive a commemorative prize.
