Before putting her hands onto clay, Stephanie draws a number of sketches by attempting to go inside the animals so as to better understand them. The more she draws, the faster the clay becomes inhabited by the vital force of animals. The process results in her sculptures bearing all the traces of making. The exhibition shows Stephanie’s drawings as well as new sculptures.
