Mount Moan in Hokkaido is often described as Japan’s Uluru for its unique shape. Wood sculptor Yoshikiyo Miyajima spends several months a year in the surrounding area of the mountain, drawing inspiration and energy from it to create his work. For this exhibition, Miyajima is showcasing work made out of oak and cherry from Ibaraki and larch from Hokkaido
