Murai Kichibe – A Tobacco Baron in Modern Japan

Kichibe Murai (1864-1926) was president of Murai Bros., once a major domestic firm before the sale of tobacco became restricted. Cigarette, signs, posters, advertisements, and other materials featuring Murai, the company, and the tobacco industry in the Meiji era are on display.

Hours	10:00-17:00
Closed	Monday Open on a public holiday Monday but closed on the following day. Closed during the New Year holidays.
Notice	Exhibition Hours 11:00-17:00. Open on November 23 and January 11. Closed on November 24 and December 28 to January 4.

Adults and University Students ¥100, Seniors 65 over, High School, Junior High and Elementary School Students ¥50, Persons with Disability Certificates + 1 Companion free.
