In addition to Muttoni’s Karakuri performance, this exhibition will include Sakutaro Hagiwara’s “Nekomachi” set in Shimokitazawa, Setagaya, and Juzo Unno’s “Exploration of the Moon World” from Kinuta with its rural scenery to space. The exhibition will also introduce various literary materials that were sources of inspiration for Muttoni’s work, such as a manuscript written by Ryunosuke Akutagawa.
