“Strawberry Parfait” and “Offering,” photographer Jimi Franklin’s new books of work, express philosophical and religious thought through photography as a metaphor. Franklin contemplates the Westernization of Japan and the Orientalization of himself in these images. Sixty works all shot in Japan are presented.
