This event has ended.

Kanade Hamamoto, an up-and-coming 20-year-old photographer, captures moments of ephemerality and wistfulness in everyday life. Her series “Midday Ghost,” she uses a broken camera to capture images of ghostly light in reflections of the western sun, water ripples, ponytails, and other shots of fleeting day-to-day existence. An installation in which spirits seem to rise from the darkness is also exhibited.
