The Kansai Bijutsuin art school opened in 1906 with painter Chu Asai as its head. It held practicums and art history courses in Western art, producing famous artists such as Ryuzaburo Umehara. This exhibition features around 30 watercolors and oilpaintincgs by its leaders and students.
