Artists

Shaun Tan
In 2006, Shaun Tan published “The Arrival,” a graphic novel about immigration that he spent five years working on. This textless story told in detailed images moved audiences around the world. Receiving Tan’s full support, this exhibition is the artist’s first major solo show in Japan. Introducing Tan’s mysterious-yet-nostalgic world, 130 displays include early drafts from his picture book “Lost Thing” through his latest illustrations, plus sketches, films, and sculptures of the strange creatures that appears in his work.
