Kanendo Watanabe “Voices”
Ends in 13 days
Featuring the work of Ihei Kimura Photo Award-winner Kanendo Watanabe. This exhibition is the first in a seven-part series looking back on his career. Watanabe’s shots of Nakamise Street in Asakusa, Tokyo, experiment with the styles of other photographers such as Henri Cartier-Bresson and Ihei Kimura. These works were taken between 2017 and 2018 on a 35 millimeter film camera. What kinds of voices can you hear in them?
