Yuzo Ono creates his work through a repeated process of apply pigment paints onto aluminum, letting them dry, and then washing them away with water to leave behind layers of paint that have a unique texture. Painting on aluminum gives the works a mysteriously luminous effect. Orie Art Gallery presents 16 new works on the theme of “landscapes.”
