*We are pleased to announce that Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo will reopen on June 2, following temporary closure in order to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus. This step is being taken as a result of the lifting of the national state of emergency and in accordance with Step 1 of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s roadmap for reopening.

This exhibition reexamines drawing’s potential in a number of different contexts through expression, varied in kind, that employs lines as a core medium of exploration. Featured are works that demonstrate contemporary approaches to drawing.
