DESIGNER PROFILE
Tomoko Konoike captured attention with her “Story Series” unveiled at the MOT Annual 2005 exhibition and Mori Art Museum’s “Storytellers” exhibition that same year. She is an artist who looks at the systems that form “stories” from a meta level through various media such as painting, sculpture, anime, and illustration.
Her large solo show entitled "Inter-Traveller" is currently on view at the Tokyo Opera City Art Gallery in Shinjuku until the end of September 2009.
