Appenzell TYO by So+Ba
Inspired by the traditional silhouette paper cut art from the swiss alpine region "Appenzell" and a tribute to the ancestors of a member of so+ba.
DESIGNER PROFILE
Alex [So]nderegger + Susanna [Ba]er are Swiss by birth. They have been working in Tokyo for more than 10 years. In 2001 they started their design studio so+ba in Tokyo. With experiences in design and advertising in Switzerland and Japan, as well as a good understanding of the two very different cultures, cross-cultural communication is one of the strengths and the focuses of so+ba. so+ba is active in the field of graphic design, art direction, vj, and teaching typography at Tama Art University.
