Barry McGee’s graffiti opposite the Watari-um

The San Francisco-based graffiti artist Barry McGee is having a solo exhibition at the Watari Museum of Contemporary Art in Harajuku. Across the road, he has revamped the streetscape, covering an empty shop with his trademark icons and graphics.

    Wow, that’s some pretty amazing artwork. I recently found out about Mr. McGee’s work and I’ve been looking for more info and pictures of his work. Anyway, I found this interview with Barry Mcgee that is pretty interesting.

    woops, got cut off there. anyway, it’s a pretty good interview and worth checking out, tells about his life and his recent exhibit in the Carnegie.
