Rainy season can be a bit gloomy but some of Tokyo’s museums are working hard to cheer us up!

The Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography is having a special deal for the start of the real summer: From June 26 till July 9 visitors on a rainy day to the Seiichi Furuya “Mémoires.” exhibition on the second floor can enjoy the third floor “The Samurai & I – Early Portrait Photographs” show for free.

How it works: if it’s raining in Ebisu at ten o’clock in the morning and you get your ticket by noon, then you will be entitled to the freebie. (You do have to see the “Samurai & I” exhibition on the same day.)

TABlog also reviewed the Seiichi Furuya show recently.
