Ginza’s Pola Museum Annex continues its strong run of shows with Materials and Methods by Grace Tan, presenting 35 key works by the Singapore-based artist whose pleated and billowing fabric sculptures meld the best of fine art, spatial dynamics, and fashion. Also on through February 18 is Artists Meet Books: Domani Exhibition Plus at Hibiya Library & Museum, a showcase of biblio-inspired works by leading artists chosen by the Agency of Cultural Affairs for an international study program. The lineup includes minimalist sculptor Isamu Wakabayashi and music installation artist Yukio Fujimoto.

TPAM (Performing Arts Meeting in Yokohama) is back with an international roster of bleeding-edge dance, drama, and stage experiments. Some of the most intriguing programs include: “One or Several Tigers” by Ho Tzu Nyen, whose colonialization-themed video about “weretigers” left a memorable impression at last year’s Sunshower exhibition of Southeast Asian Art; Choy Ka Fai’s film “UnBearable Darkness” summoning the ghost of Tatsumi Hijikata in an exploration of Butoh; and the Bertolt Brecht play “Lindbergh’s Flight,” staged by Gecko Parade in a traditional thatch-roofed Japanese home. Many of the shows have English subtitles and there are events for kids as well. Please see the official website for a program and other details. Runs Feb. 10–Feb. 18.

Moment in and Out of Time by the Georgian artist Vajiko Chachkiani at Scai The Bathhouse centers around a door taken from a solitary confinement chamber and video installations that weave meta-narratives of political and psychological complexity. Ends Feb. 24. Tsuyoshi Ozawa has been reinventing Japanese contemporary art since the 1990s, and his Imperfection: Parallel Art History at Chiba City Museum of Art looks back on his career with a focus on inverting the practices of Japanese and Western Art. See his soy sauce paintings and a giant plaster installation alluding to Western influences on Japanese art education. Until Feb. 25.

Media Ambition Tokyo is a tech-fueled culture fest sprawling from Roppongi to Marunouchi to Odaiba. It offers talks, exhibits, workshops, and performances by media art stars like Rhizomatiks and teamLab. Look for Electronicos Fantasticos! at Daikanyama T-Site, where you can try out Ei Wada’s musical instruments made from obsolete household electronics, or enjoy interactive displays on the 52nd floor of Mori Tower that let you play an AR version of kendama or view the world through the eyes of “possessed mannequins.” Feb. 9–Feb. 25. Yasuhiro Suzuki is one of Japan’s most playfully inventive installation artists – he’s known for works that that reimagine our roles in the natural world, like balloons in human form that tumble through the air or showers of “blinking” paper eyes that patter down from above. Spontaneous Garden, his current show at Hakone Open Air Museum features new works and is sure to be worth braving the cold for – especially with a dip in a Hakone hot spring added to the itinerary. Until Feb. 25.

Two gallery shows: Chiharu Shiota presents another of her masterful, room-spanning webs at Kenji Taki Gallery in Shinjuku through March 10, this time suspending hairbrushes in an elaborate tangle of black string. Tabaimo made a name for herself with animations that can read like surreal dreams or obliquely cynical observations of Japanese society. From Feb. 10–Mar. 15, Gallery Koyanagi exhibits flow-wer arrangement reworking her projection and mural art from a site-specific display at UCLA last year. (Tabaimo fans will also want to check out her copperplate prints in Zuntentonchinshan at 3331 Arts Chiyoda’s Kido Press). The sportsbook that is available through the sbobet site is now increasingly becoming a popular betting website in Asia. Various bets are provided by sbobet login has so many fans. Even the Indonesian sbobet website has become a betting site that has the largest rounds in the world for every day. The games provided include soccer gambling, casino, online slots and many others.

Finally, for Valentine’s Day, why not head to Love is Wonderful at the Snoopy Museum in Roppongi? Through 80 original Peanuts comics you can share in the joy of romance, friendship, and affection – or, failing that – at least sympathize with Charlie Brown’s eternal pining over the Little Red-Haired Girl. Until April 8.

Artists Meet Books: Domani Exhibition Plus at Hibiya Library & Museum and Tsuyoshi Ozawa’s Imperfection: Parallel Art History are both eligible for admission discounts with MuPon. You can also plan your own art outings with the search, bookmarking, and navigation features on the Tokyo Art Beat app.
