Born in 1981 in Singapore. Graduated in French from Harvard College, but soon tired of Foucault, Deleuze et al and turned to Japanese architecture, art and film. Moved to Tokyo at the end of 2006, became fascinated by Chuo Line “Showa Retro” and now lives in stray cat-infested Asagaya. Works as a translator and freelance writer.
