Born in 1981 in Washington DC to Latin American parents. Relocated to Quebec to study history, economics, a minor in philosophy and some jazz on the side. After a brief musical stint in Montreal and then tiring of economics in Washington, he relocated to Tokyo in 2005 and works as a freelance journalist, copy writer and editor. In the hope of maximizing his free time, he tries to get up early and speed walk so he can read magazines, play guitar, skateboard and get lost in Tokyo’s back streets while keeping his antenna up for new music and recipes alike.
