The Museum of Modern Art, Saitama, was opened in November 1982 as a comprehensive art museum designed not only for the exhibition of art works but also to promote artistic activities among the general public and provide spaces where members of the public can exhibit their art. The museum's collection contains works by leading modern and contemporary artists and by prominent artists from Saitama and the Japanese and overseas artists who influenced them.

Note:On a Public Holiday Monday, the museum is open. Also during the year change period and maintenance day is open as well.

Adults ¥200, University and High School Students ¥100, Special Exhibition Fees may be charged separately.
