The street on which the gallery is situated, Nihon Odori, still reminds us of when Yokohama’s port had just opened, 145 years from today. The Mitsui Bussan Building was built in 1911, and is the oldest office building in Japan and Galerie Paris is on the first floor of this historical building. In Galerie Paris, art, architecture, theatre art, and fashion have been displayed previously, as well as works from artists who have succeeded in the music industry. Besides the gallery, there is a small boutique where unique jewelry, fashion items, and clothing from European and Japanese designers are sold.
