Opened in October 2003. With an open attitude toward contemporary art and culture, the Mori Art Museum sets the standard for a new kind of public institution. The museum aims to inspire visitors by showing art in new ways and frameworks through an accessible program of exhibitions, public events and research projects that provide an international platform for emerging and established artists and designers throughout Japan, Asia and the world.
