Gallery Archipelago
Gallery in The Nihonbashi, Kudanshita area
Gallery Archipelago is a space jointly operated by nine artists as an exhibit space, where they mostly exhibit their own work. The gallery was set up as a space to echo each member's desire to create and present his or her own works, not as a place to strive for consensus or to depend on a sense of commonality. By deliberately avoiding setting a sole objective, the gallery hopes to continue to be a fluid site that allows for the reflection of individual thought and opinion and does not damage diversity.
