Utsunomiya Museum of Art
Museum in The Kanto: others area
The gallery mainly focuses on post 20th century art and design with a particular focus on works that have a connection with the city of Utsunomiya and organizes 5-6 exhibitions a year on top of the permanent collection. It is designed as a low rise one floor building in order to harmonize with the surrounding 26 hectares of forestry and with a particular attention on access for disabled people.
