Gallery in The Shinjuku area

Wako Works of Art began introducing contemporary European art to Japan from soon after its opening. Celebrating their 10th anniversary in 2002, a new space for up-and-coming Japanese artists was constructed and projects started being held there from July 2004. Wako Works of Art aims to build a framework for creating beautiful art in the 21st century with artists, curators, critics, and collectors.
