Taro Okamoto
Taro Okamoto traveled all over Japan in 1957 photographing people and keeping a travel journal for a project that he did for magazine "Geijutsu Shincho". He focused on each region's unique characteristics and did in-depth research on their traditions. The report was published in the magazine every month along with his art writing. This exhibition features Okamoto's photographs and revisits his ideas and critical messages.
