P&P Gallery
Finished
In this exhibition, selected books from both Japan and Germany's book competition are on display. This selection of beautiful books from these two countries is presented for your pleasure to actually hold and experience.

The exhibition consists of books from two competitions. The German competition "The Best German Books" is held by Stiftung Buchkunst, Frankfurt am Mainm, Leipzig. In bookmaking, typography, graphics, form, paper, printing, and binding are carefully planned in accordance with the contents of the book. Out of 943 applicants, only 60 chosen in 2006 are shown in this exhibition.

"The Japan Book Design Concours" aims to "create better and more beautiful books" and was held for the 41st time this year. 29 books critically selected from 363 applications from the perspectives of form, color, layout, design quality and cover functionality, material, printing, and bookbinding are introduced.
